"Toby Keith 35 Biggest Hits," due May 6, spans the performer's entire career, starting with his first No. 1 hit, 1993's "Should've Been a Cowboy," and running through the 2006 chart-topper "A Little Too Late." The two-disc collection also includes the new tune "She's a Hottie," which is currently making its way up the country charts.
Meanwhile, Keith has squeezed a half-dozen more dates into to his North American summer outing, which launches June 19 in Birmingham, AL. Since last check, stops have been added in Phoenix; Paso Robles, CA; St. Paul, MN; and the Pennsylvania towns of Scranton, Meadville and Allentown. The tour is scheduled to visit amphitheaters and fairs across the US and into Canada through mid-September. Details are listed below.
In addition to the forthcoming hits collection, Keith is supporting his June 2007 release, "Big Dog Daddy," which is his third set to debut at the top of The Billboard 200. The record spawned the fastest-rising single of Keith's career, "High Maintenance Woman," as well as the hits "Love Me If You Can" and "Get My Drink On."
Between tours, Keith has been shooting his latest feature film, "Beer For My Horses," which is named after his 2002 hit with Willie Nelson. Keith wrote the script with comedian Rodney Carrington and the pair co-star in the flick alongside buddies Nelson and Ted Nugent. The movie is scheduled to debut in theaters this summer.
Over the course of his career, Keith has sold more than 31 million records and earned a slew of accolades, including three BMI Songwriter of the Year trophies and several Academy of Country Music Awards.
